Vishal will be working with the children of Khirkee to create a local iconography which will be converted into charts or stickers to be disseminated amongst the community. The project will aim to combat the one way traffic which exists when creating icons. Most icons tend to belong to a dominant section of society. This project is a way of acknowledging the tools of trade, the ways of living, the implements of use and the everyday practices of this distinct ecosystem within Delhi. By generating an iconography of a society (Khirkee area) within the city through the participation of its community members, this exercise shall help the community participants analyse their own locality, personas and way of life and give expression to it. By this the project hopes to provide the community tools and strategies that are culturally empowering. The end products of the exercise shall also become valuable public documents about this society.

Brendan Jamison (Belfast)
Brendan Jamison worked on a series of outdoor site-specific wool works, which were created in direct response to the architectural features of the KHOJ Studios, combined with a selection of small sculptures created in response to Vasudha Thozur's community based art projects.

Ann McCoy is a New York artist who studied alchemy in Zurich for 25 years with Jung’s main assistant C. A. Meier. Her work deals with mythology, depth psychology, comparative religion, and the dream world.

Her exhibition at KHOJ represented a radical departure from her past work. Disturbed by the current policies of the Bush administration with the war in Iraq and the environmental devastation that is occurring, this exhibition was dedicated to her brother Dr. Michael McCoy D.V.M. who spent thirty years making the Tijuana Estuary wetlands preserve. This wetlands preserve is being destroyed by the Bush administration to mount a fence along the Mexican border.
