Curatorship Program 2010
KHOJ International Artist's Association hosted a Residency programme for young curators as part of the four-year Curatorship Programme conceptualized by India Foundation for the Arts (IFA) in collaboration with select institutions across the country. This was the first in a series of projects that KHOJ undertook as the nodal centre facilitating curatorial practice in the visual arts.
The Residency aimed to establish a model of practice-based training for curators. The selected resident curators benefitted from the support and network of art practitioners that have been associated with KHOJ. The first of its kind Residency aimed to develop a training ground for emerging curators who engaged with various modes of artistic practice as well as were actively involved in critical writing.
Gitanjali Dang and Oindrilla Maity were selected from amongst several applicants by a jury comprising of art critic Geeta Kapur and artist Anita Dube.
