Applications Open: Curatorial Training Programme @ KHOJ

KHOJ invites applications for an 18 month curatorial training programme based at the KHOJ Studios in Delhi. In an effort to bridge the gap between practice and theory, the programme is intended to provide young curators with essential skills and experience focusing particularly on the different methods and frameworks of curating within an alternative art space.

The successful candidate will work closely with the crew at the KHOJ Studios, conceptualizing, realizing and coordinating projects over an 18 month period.

How to Apply:
Candidates are invited to apply by sending in:
• A current CV
• A letter, in which they explain their reasons for wanting to attend the programme and what they expect from it.
• Along with this, candidates should submit a proposal for a project to be realized at KHOJ.

The L.A. Center for Digital Art announces an international call to artists. All styles of artwork and photography where digital processes of any kind were integral to their creation are acceptable: digital art stills of any kind, digital photogaphy, short experimental time based video, video loops, mobile media, interactive media, and internet art (net.art).

Selected winners will be exhibited as the central focus of the 'DigitalArt.LA' expo (http://DigitalArt.LA) in a large group exhibit at the LACDA gallery, August 14 - September 6, 2008. Video winners will also be screened at the Downtown Film Festival Los Angeles. The show will be widely promoted and will include a reception for the artists.
